BlakerTech’s Metal Recycling Equipment Shines at Hillhead 2024
From June 25th to 27th, we proudly exhibited our industry-leading metal recycling equipment, the SandFlo and MagThro, at Hillhead 2024. The event attracted a huge and diverse international audience, with delegates visiting our stand from countries as far afield as Sweden, Ireland, Belgium, America and Israel.
Over the three days, we were bustling with activity as visitors eagerly sought demonstrations, technical information and engaged in detailed discussions about our solutions. They were particularly interested in understanding how our equipment could effectively address their specific and unique recycling challenges.
The SandFlo generated significant interest, notably for its ability to separate aluminium from mixed non ferrous materials. This process results in a clean product suitable for smelting, while heavier materials require further processing. Attendees were intrigued by its aerated sand, which demonstrates a distinctive reaction when air is introduced. This method effectively allows light non-ferrous metals, including aluminium fragments as small as 2mm, to float.
Following the event, we are pleased to announce several bookings for our mobile units. These bookings will allow us to demonstrate our equipment's performance directly at customer sites, showcasing its efficiency in real-world metal recycling plants.
