May 2025 Highlights – Product Development & Engineering Updates at BlakerTech

As we move into June, we're taking a moment to reflect on several key achievements from May — including progress on our new R&D facility, the appointment of a National Sales Manager, and ongoing improvements to our core product range. We’ve also initiated a redesign of our company website and confirmed our plans to exhibit at Hillhead 2026.
R&D Facility – Nearing Completion
Construction of our new research and development facility continues to progress. Once complete, the expanded site will provide greater capacity for the testing and refinement of our metal recycling equipment, in line with both industry requirements and customer feedback.
The facility will support our ongoing focus on delivering systems that are robust, efficient, and scalable — designed to integrate into a range of recycling and resource recovery operations.
Appointment of National Sales Manager
We were pleased to welcome James Ryan as National Sales Manager. James brings experience in sales and business development and will be working across both BlakerTech and Blaker Engineering to support our commercial activity as we move into the next phase of growth.
His appointment further strengthens our ability to respond to enquiries, support clients, and develop new opportunities within the metal recycling and wider waste management sectors.
Ongoing Product Development
Our engineering team is currently implementing design refinements across several areas of our equipment portfolio, with the aim of:
- Reducing equipment footprint
- Improving overall usability
- Maintaining the proven durability and reliability that customers expect
These updates reflect our ongoing commitment to developing practical, results-focused solutions for both new installations and existing process lines.
Website Redesign Underway
A redesign of the BlakerTech website is now in progress. The new site will provide a clearer view of our product range and recent developments, while also improving the user experience for both new and returning visitors.
The updated platform will reflect our position as a UK-based engineering company specialising in metal recovery equipment and related recycling technologies.
Preparing for Hillhead 2026
We are pleased to confirm that BlakerTech will be exhibiting at Hillhead 2026 — the UK’s largest exhibition for the quarrying, construction, and recycling industries. The event offers an opportunity to engage with customers, suppliers, and industry stakeholders, and to share recent developments across our product range.
