A new MagThro Eddy Current processing line for our new customer
We are in the process of finishing a MagThro Eddy Current processing line for our new customer who runs a busy metal recycling plant, serving businesses in and around the Midlands and East Anglia.
The new processing line (which consists of the customers own conveyor) will split mixed materials into three outfalls; ferrous, non-ferrous and waste.
Here’s how it’s done…
- The processing line feeds mixed materials onto a feeder shaker which feeds it in a monolayer onto a drum magnet.
- The drum magnet provides a magnetic field which removes the ferrous metal, sending all remaining materials over the MagThro Eddy Current Separator
- The MagThro Eddy Current Separator then separates the non-ferrous metals from the waste materials
Our customer is looking to recover higher quantities of valuable metals from mixed materials to improve extraction rates, increase revenue and reduce the volume of material going to landfill.
