Welcoming James Ryan – Our New National Sales Manager

We’re delighted to announce the appointment of James Ryan as National Sales Manager at the Blaker Group, supporting our continued growth across the UK manufacturing and recycling sectors.
James joins us with a strong background in sales and business development, and brings fresh ideas, energy, and a collaborative approach to the role. He will be leading sales activity across two key divisions:
- BlakerTech – our specialist division focused on designing and manufacturing metal recycling equipment, including eddy current separators for non-ferrous metal recovery and systems that support more efficient waste management and resource recovery.
- Blaker Engineering – providers of high-quality fabrication, welding, and repair services to the heavy plant and equipment sector, including axle repair solutions for HGVs and trailers.
James’s appointment reflects our commitment to strengthening customer relationships, expanding market reach, and continuing to provide reliable, UK-built solutions that support sustainability and operational performance across the metal recycling and engineering services industries.
A Bit More About James
Originally from the UK, James began his academic and sporting journey in Southern California, later transferring to the University of Colorado in the United States, where he successfully balanced competitive tennis with his studies. Outside of work, James remains an avid tennis player and coach, a regular golfer, and a dedicated supporter of Fulham Football Club.
